Not Korean, But Does International Pop Star Count?

Yes, i'm talking about you-know-who, the legendary Ms. Britney Spears! And I must say she is back! Afer kick starting her tour in New Orleans, she is quickly converting skeptics into followers of her Circus. Now, I know, she's not by any means Asian, but let's face it, who is it that the Asian female pop culture follow? The Pop Queen herself. I've listened to her album and even saw the New Orlens show and I've got to say it was quite amazing. The dancing, costumes, circus acts, and dazziling light shows all remind us of the Spears we know and love. And of course, as mentioned in her album, she is the ring leader and we are the audience waiting for the next spectacular perfance, which i think it is safe to say is here to be delivered. Fly to the Sky Come back Performance

It seems the singing duo will be performing on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of February. There newest album Decenium is to be released on the 13th February with their newest single “가버려 너” (“Throwing You Away”); and is a celebration to the boys 10 years in showbiz. Brian wrote recently on a FTTS Forum:

"Hey Everyone,Wow~!! This is my first time in this forum... It's pretty nice... Just wanted to stop by and say thank you all for your un-ending support for our group... I just wanted to update you all and let you know that we are finally finished recording and now we just have to do the final touches to the tracks...The album should most likely be out mis Febuary or even earlier... Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that this one really Tops the Charts... I hope everyone is keeping themselves warm during this cold weather...(For those of you in cold climates)... I myself, am struggling to get rid of my cold... Kinda hard to from getting sick when the weather is so friggin' cold out.... Well, hope you all enjoy the new songs when they come out... Busy Busy DBSK

Along with DBSK's Korean fourth album come back, comes a very busy time indeed. The poor boys schedule is jam packed with trips, and unfortunately for korean fans, the boys have left Korea and are now back in Japan. Short visit wasn't it? They been back in Japan for a while now and their schedule has not let up. They will, however be back in Seoul on the 20th of February, but they will be returning to Japan. Seoul&Pop!

This blog will be dedicated to the Asian music scene. As an Asian pop listener, I think Asian artists need as much recognition as they can get, especially for some of the more talented ones. Who knows! Maybe one day we might see their CD in the American market; but of course, either way, a dedicated blog to show our appreciation isn't bad, now is it? It might take me a while to get this blog really going, but I hope once I do, it can turn into fellow Asian music fans Haven. So, keep checking in for blog updates! I mainly listen to Korean and Japanese artist, but i'm always open to knew artist from China and etc. I will more tha likely list some common entertainment knews and will try to get the most accurate information; And, of course, if anyone has any requests for any particular thing in the future, I will be sure to fulfill those requests in a timely manner, but I do get very busy so patience is key.
